cooking's gone to the dogs
Here I am with my face stuck in SHAPE magazine trying to figure out how many carbs I should be eating compared to proteins. I sometimes feel like I'm drowning in a sea of information. Did you know that a high protein, low carb diet can lead to muscle cramps and diarrhea? Lovely! Or if you've been noticing your head is starting to resemble Mr. Clean you could be lacking a diet of calories and numerous vitamins. With all of this information how do we know and understand what we should eat? Fortunately, we are able to judge how we feel on certain diets. The real question for me is how in the world do I figure out the best diet for my dog? (more)

keeping it simple
For our dogs, food was the whole shebang, it was their survival. If you have ever lived where the coyote roam, you are familiar with their high-pitched and frenetic celebrations in the middle of the night when they have caught their prey and they are sharing the affair.(more)
